King William Neighborhood
Tour this is a walking tour of Texas
first historic neighborhood. See a variety of architecture, enjoy
the floral wonderland, and hear about the people who lived in the
neighborhood. Tours are 1.5 hours - Walking about 1 mile this is a
group tour a minimum of 15 people - $15.00 per person - Group

After the Civil War the neighborhood became home to many
of the city's more prosperous German businessmen. Along with
non-German residents as well. By the 1880's the King William area
was considered to be the hub of the German community. The oldest
structures left in the King William Historic District are from the
1860's. The homes you see today were built between 1860's - 1920's.
This historical neighborhood shows a variety of architecture with
influences stretching from Greek revival, Neo Classical, European
and Victorian. See the magnificent homes while enjoying a floral
wonderland. Hear how the area began and about the people who lived
in the neighborhood. Walk through an historic home owned by the man
who started the oldest family owned flourmill in the country. Your
tour begins with a trolley ride to the King William Historic
District. With a leisurely walk through the neighborhood. Then a
trolley ride back.No driving tours are permitted through this
neighborhood.

Downtown Tour Step back in time. Hear stories about escapades and
conflicts from San Antonio’s colorful past. Visit San Fernando
Catholic Cathedral and The Spanish Governors Palace with your own
Professional Tour Guide. Tours are 1 1/2 hours - Walking distance -
about 1 mile This is a group Tour a minimum of 15 people - $15.00

tour of our Downtown Historical District is like stepping back in
time during the Battle of the Alamo. Tour the actual building, that
many of the orders were made by Santa Anna himself during The
Battle of the Alamo.

San Antonio’s rich and colorful past. See some of San Antonio's
oldest homes. Hear the stories about the historic buildings and
the people who lived in the homes. Learn about the events that
shaped our city that took place in and around these historical
structures. We walk through Alamo Plaza' Main Plaza, Military
Plaza, San Fernendo Catheral, and the Spanish Governor's
Palace, See the O'Heny House, the home of famous short story writer
William Sydney Porter. Just way to many
